Jewel Beetle
This 3D puzzle kit contains all parts to assemble the Jewel Beetle without glue. The beetle body is made of black cardboard. The shields, made of metallic paper, are available in three stunning colours.

Jewel Beetles are beautiful little insects in bright glossy iridescent colours. Due to their vibrant colours, they are often used in beetle jewellery and decoration in asian countries. When they are larvae, they generally favour to eat dead branches. Some adult Jewel Beetle species are attracted to recently burned forests to lay their eggs. They can sense pine wood smoke from up to 50 miles away and can see infrared light, helping them to get closer to the forest fire.
Constructing the Jewel Beetle is a precise and very delicate task. The small and super detailed parts of the beetle-body are made of black cardboard. The shields are made of unique metallic gradient paper to mimic the colourful effect of the real exotic Jewel Beetles.
You can mount the beetle on the wall with or without the supplied white cardboard display. You can also put the beetle on the white cardboard display and place it on your desk, shelf, side-table or wherever!
It takes about 15 minutes to assemble the Assembli beetle yourself.
